Ryan Hodges grew up in Bath County from age 12 and returned with his family in 1985, leaving behind a banking career in Atlanta, Georgia. He and his wife Mary have two children and live on the Jackson River north of Warm Springs where they raise trout, chickens, and bees. Ryan's hobbies, fishing and cycling, have led him all over Bath and Highland Counties. His first-hand knowledge of the area makes his real estate work a labor of love. Ryan is the chairman of the Mountain Soil and Water Conservation District, a member of The Valley Conservation Council and is the founder of the Jackson River Restoration Foundation. Ryan is a partner of Virginia Hot Springs Realty, LLC, and Clarkson and Wallace and serves as the Principal Broker.
Thomas "Randy" Richardson is an Associate Real Estate Broker for Clarkson & Wallace and works primarily out of the new Monterey office in Highland County. He says the best thing about his job is he gets to introduce clients to the most spectacular scenery in Virginia. Randy is also involved in several volunteer organizations, including the Monterey Lions Club, WVLS 89.7 (the local radio station), and Highlanders for Responsible Development. He and his wife Winnie live in Highland County and have a daughter, Danielle, who lives in Charlottesville.
Bill Bratton is a fourth generation Bath County native, born and raised on a farm near the Highland County line. He spent twenty seven-years with the Soil Conservation Service and now devotes his time to a large cattle operation, auctioneering, real estate and family. Bill is active in the Bolar Ruritan Club and many other civic organizations in both Bath and Highland Counties.
Nell Carpenter is a sales specialist in Virginia Hot Springs Realty's resale department specializing in sales of Owners Club interests and other Bath County real estate. Before returning to Virginia, she was a retail executive in Richmond and Atlanta; spent 26 years in NYC as a senior executive in promotion and marketing at Estee Lauder Inc, LaPrairie; Ungaro Division of Chanel; Harper's Bazaar, Meigher Communications and Self Magazine. A native of Bath County with family dating to the 1700's, she is currently on the board of the Bath County Historical Society.
Dreama Burns has been a life-long advocate of Bath County and all it has to offer. She and her family have resided here for generations. She loves the tranquility of the mountains and through her new career as a real estate agent, she wants to share her love of the area with her clients. Dreama and her husband own a small contracting business in the community. She also serves on the Bath County School Board. Her hobbies include spending time outdoors, watching the bountiful wildlife, and spending quality time with her family.
